I like this guy. And he like me. I know for a fact hes not a molester or a rapist/stalker. But i don't like the online dating thing because he can never be here for me ( physically ) The more i talk to him the more i want to be with him. but i just HATE online dating. What do i do? I like him so much =/
"Online dating" What are your thoughts?
hmm...
Rape, physco's, %26amp; creepy teachers.
no offence to people who ENJOY putting their life on the line.
Reply:I only am willing to talk to guys that live in the same area I do - that way there is not the issue of not being able to see each other. I'm all for meeting online - but if that is all there is it would not work for me. I have plenty of email pals - don't need to be involved with anyone that way.

Beware of online dating ..... Here is a good reason why?
I have a friend who is the founder of a new dating website which I won't disclose. She has 6 test accounts that she has created, and yes members can contact the test accounts w/ possible interest.
There was a man who wrote the same message to all the female test accounts, and who knows how many more member accounts. It's seems as though users are using online dating as a form of monopoly. Many members are speaking, and dating/hooking up w/ multiple ppl on multiple dating sites at once.
Here is an experiment. Type in the screen name of a member you like on one dating site using google, and see how many times his/her name comes up on other sites. And yeah you may see them on a few adult dating sites also.

Thats why i recommendate http://www.top10datingwebsite.com .
This is great website of Top 10 Dating Website listing. This website only list those website which is very secure and reliable.
Reply:That's common and what's the big deal? Why contact only one at a time or use only one site at a time? Nothing wrong with spreading yourself around, for plenty of exposure...that doesn't mean you are a player or trying to do anything inappropriate or dishonest.
I've been on various sites over the years, at the same time (esp when many were free). It just made sense so that more people could see my profile and contact me if interested.
Just like people that may date multiples offline, until they meet someone they really 'click' with, nothing wrong with contacting many online as you weed through all those who aren't suitable to hopefully find someone who is. ☺
Reply:Ummm. DUH. That's what people do, they try to hook up with as many people as possible, that is why you don't **** someone on the first date. Wait a couple months and get to know the guy first in person!
Reply:Dating sites are for Geeks and Pedophiles...
Reply:I would rather not do a dating website setup because I don't like long distance relationships.
Reply:Durh every people do the same thing!!!!!
You try to get with as much people as you can!
Reply:.....and you just discovered that? That is the very nature of these sights.
Reply:You only have to check out a couple dating websites to know this. I have known this for years, and that is why I stay away from them now at all costs.
Too much phishing, and just plain not nice folks on them.
It's much better to meet real people in person, than to take your chances online.
Reply:thats the point thoo...you are not going to stop when you first meet someone you are interested in

Is Online Dating worthless to you?
Okay, Like is Online Dating stupid to you, if so why not? if you think it's not stupid, Explain your reasoning. In my opinion I don't think Online Dating is good because you can't really have a "Good" relationship with your online BF/GF. Plus, It's not going to work if you want to send like gifts and whatnot.. I just don't think it's not good. Please express your feelings out please. No bad Comments please.
Is Online Dating worthless to you?
Online Dating is for really lucky people, and some people have no luck at all.For me personally,I am not going to do it because i would just attract a loser?

Reply:right now it is worthless to me because I don't want to be in a relationship or date anyone at all. I would like to meet someone offline if possible. I guess I'm old fashion that way.
Reply:On line Dating is good for a quick lay seriously but for a long term thing,,, not really if i see some one on an On line Dating site i assume shes desperate and would be an easy one to get in bed
just like those tattoo's girls get on there lower back, there called a tramp stamp for a reason
Reply:Yes Hi sister in real life but anyway, I don't think online dating doesn't work unless your really that lucky. People lie about their age, their picture, their everything. They could be unknown suspects waiting to kill you when you go to their house. I don't trust the internet alot, but alot of people who got their wife/husband online are very lucky you didn't suspect someone different when you met. That's my opinion.
Reply:YES
Reply:I don't care for it or feel it's safe, however I do know several people that's where they met their husband and are very happy .
Reply:I say it is not good to have intimate feelings...but it is ok to keep them as a friend and keep them in mind for dating if you happen ,for some reason move to their area. Otherwise it is not worth to start online relation past a friendship
Reply:Yes, to me I think its stupid, because you cannot trust "most" people on the internet these days because so many people lie, and even lie about the smallest things. Plus they could show a picture of some hot guy and once you go to meat them they are hideous...I know that sounded mean but its the truth. And then again you have thosse people who date online and never end up even seeing each other. Sorry that's just not my thing.
Reply:I have yet to find a meaningful relationship on line. I met and went out with a few men and had relationships that lasted a short while, but something was missing, I think that spark of spontaneity that you have when you just meet people one on one.

Free Online Dating?
I have not had a date in 3 years and I am going to give online dating a try. I am realy dorky but nice once you get to know me. What is the best site for online dating. I want it to be free, but that is not 100% nessasary.
Free Online Dating?
There are some dating websites that are 100% free and offer almost everything that a paid website will. If you are looking for a match making service then you will have to pay, but if you want to meet people online and find potential dates on your own then you should have no problem finding a free dating option,
I personal like kickbackworld. It has all the features that you will want. You can search singles in your area, email, leave comments, chat and everything else that you would need to help find dates.
You may find that you are sucessfull with online dating because you are in a more comfortable environment. You can meet people and chat with them without any worries.
Try kickbackworld if you want a free online dating site. I think you will find all the features you want.
http://www.kickbackworld.com
Reply:You can also try plentyoffish.com it is 100% free with email and IM'S....Ann G Ashland Ky Report It
Reply:There are few really "free" sites. It's always free to create a profile, and it's generally free to look through the other profiles... but if you want to actually contact or be contacted by any person on the site, you need to pay a monthly fee (you can get promotions so that it only costs you about a dollar a day).
If you're new to the scene, you might want to start out on Match.com, it's very popular and has lots of helpful basic advice. You can also set up profiles on networking sites like Friendster, Xanga, or MySpace - these are free, but are designed more for networking with friends than dating. Don't try eHarmony until you're ready for a more serious, long-term relationship.
Remember that your online profile is like your resume - you have to put your best foot forward. Talk about your specific likes and interests (a general description like "I'm a nice guy" won't interest anyone). Post pictures that are flattering and current - no sunglasses, hats, or poorly-lit webcam shots. Check out the profiles of other guys to see sort of information they post, and which you think are well-written.

1. http://www.plentyoffish.com
2. http://www.kickbackworld.com
Both are good but if your a dork I dont know if you will be any more sucessful in the online dating area.
Reply:I would not do onl;ine dating? that is not the way to do it!

I sometimes find it hard to just go out and meet a girl, talk to her, etc and ask her out u know? Online dating sites help the shy guy? What are some good ones? Thanks for your help.
Online dating sites?
Give it a try, some good ones are

http://personals.yahoo.com
http://www.rate-pictures.com
http://www.aalaya.com

Reply:I can't say I would NEVER try a dating site, but I just think it's bullshit than they cost to use. I'm sure the people on them are real, I just wouldn't want to pay for it.
Reply:Some of the more popular sites are: match.com, yahoo personals, and eharmony.com The positive side of online dating is that it gives you a wider pool of people than those you would normally meet. The negative side is that....it gives you a wider pool of people than those you would normally meet. In other words, be extra careful in online dating. One needs to be careful in dating. One also needs to be careful when communicating online. Add both together and, well, you get online dating. With that in mind, I hope it works out well for you.
Reply:two sites i am in are aff adult friend finder and person.com they are worldwide so you get to meet heaps of people. and of course some people are serious and some are not but thats anywhere i think
you don't have to pay either
Reply:teenspot.com.

Opinions: Online Dating V.S. Real World Dating?
Although Online dating should lead to Real World Dating...What is your take as to where one starts...Online or Out on the Town?
Opinions: Online Dating V.S. Real World Dating?
it's your preference. If you've tried out on the town, try online dating. Or do both. If you want to find a companion, any choice is plausible. There is no "pick one and stick to it"
I've done both, and both were virtually the same.
Reply:You can start online, but like you said it must end up offline. If you start offline I would not suggest you start facebooking and what not.... but if youre in a town that simply sucks then the internet is an option that you cannot afford to miss so definately try it.
Reply:You can meet a lot more people online in a shorter time, without all the work. I think its easier online.
Reply:1st it could start out online nut would evenutally have to get face 2 face 1 day if it's worth it...
