Online dating?

My friend has just started the online dating. She set up a profile stating where she lives what type of guy she's looking for. Anyway this guy emailed her and she had doubts about responding He didn't live in the same city and he was 10 years older then her. She decided to email him and get to know him. They sent each other about 4 emails. In the last email my friend mentioned that she doesn't see herself living anywhere else. With that in mind the guy emailed her and told her it's not going to work out as they don't live in the same city. Can someone explain this? Me and my friend don't get it. Why did the guy email her then? Thanks

Online dating?
prolly he had the second thought..

i mean at first he was attracted by her profile and contacted her.

as time went by, he realized that long distance relationship doesn't work.

that happend to my friend too.

they relationship lasted for only 2 months.

i'm sorry that your friend might have got hurt by this but at least it ended before she goes too far.

it's not like they have been a couple for several months.
Reply:Actually distance is not a problem. I met my lover through millionairecupid.com. He lives in texas while I'm in New York. We get married finally. So I think distance should not be a problem, the only problem is whether they love each other and take it seriously.
Reply:hi, I had a few bad experiences when i first tried online dating as well, you have to be really carefull with the sort of person that you agree to meet up with and allways take a friend with you on the first real date.

be careful that you check out the sites you sign up with as well, some of them just sell your information on. The best one if found was http://dating.1tops.com

I hope thats what you were looking for.
Reply:If two people say they will never move to another place to live then what's the use of continuing the relationship? The sad truth is that when you really fall in love, (I mean "really in love") you'll not only move to another city but another planet wouldn't seem a problem. People have changed religion, country, nationality, left families. Sad that people talk about these things too soon, it could have been a match made in heaven!
