Online dating?

Has anybody tried online dating? If so did you have a good experience with it? Is online dating a good way to meet someone? I have been thinking about trying online dating. Are there any online dating website that I should look into? I have been thinking about joining match.com and yahoo personals.

I have tried online dating and met someone. I was scared to try it at first too, I thought there are alot of crazy ppl out there, but you meet crazy ppl anywhere. You just have to be careful. Talk to them and get to know them. True.com is a great site, they have chat rooms and you meet lots of interesting ppl, I would recommend it.

I don't think you should give up on online dating. I found this site a while back and it is 100% free, and yes I thought it was a scam, I mean who'da thought a dating site would be free right?

Reply:there are pros and cons to online dating. with long distance, it may be hard but if you 2 are really willing to commit to the relationship then its probably worth working out. one success story, my sister got married to someone she met online, now they are happily married with 3 kids. :) Report It

Reply:Watch out for yahoo personals, I was proposed to by about a hundred Egyptians and Africans in the first month. it ws flattering and fun but, not realistic.

I would highly recommend Plenty of Fish. These people are all seriously looking for love and relationships. I met my husband through yahoo personals, actually, he stole my id from someone else I was talking to on it and chased me for a year before i gave him the time of day. he foolishly admitting to stealing my id. thought it would impress me. NOT! We live overseas from each other and we travel often, we are waiting for immigration to approve his file and then we will be together. So, online dating and long distance relationships can work.

Reply:I haven't tried online dating but I personally am afraid to try it because of all the wierd people these days seriouly I would just stick with the old fashion way But who knows your best bet is to probably research it and go from there.
