Has anyone on here ever met anyone online or on a phone chat line? I don't really think those things work but they are so many out there so they must be doing something. I am just too paranoid to even try but i'm curious as too if anyone else has and what was the outcome.

if i were you i would stick to the real life dating. Whatever you do , dont do phone chat crap. As for online dating, be cautious but i really think its too much trouble for its own good. You can give a try but i still think the best way to go about it is to meet people the regular way.
Reply:I met my boyfriend for 6 months now online. So far so good. He's real nice to me. You just have to be careful when you are out there looking. The one with fancy profiles and cute pictures may not be good. You should be able to tell what kind of people they are by IM conversation. I didn't plan on meeting someone there at the first place probably that's why i could able to look at things more clearly. good luck
