Online Dating?

If i wanted to meet a nice person, would this be a good way? i have always thought that it never works. has anyone here meet someone online and become good friends with them? Or should i stick with the normal ways of meeting people?

Reply:Yes it is another way of meeting the right one as long as you remember you are going to come across a few that you won't be suited to. Everyone seems to judge by the first 2 or 3 people they meet and then come out and say online dating is no good.


I met my partner on Lava life and I am now in a defacto relationship and we have a brand new 3 bedroom home with office. I my has totally changed for the better and we even have a yacht. So don't be too quick to judge online dating and give it a fair chance.
Reply:yes i have used online dating and met ladies that have become friends ---- i have met a lady that i want to spend the rest of my life with and without the internet we would never even have known we existed --- she is about 20,000 km away but we will finally meet soon and see where our journey goes --- i am also a lot older than most people here out of a failed 30 year marriage

Reply:I met my ex on-line. We were together for 6 years and have 2 beautiful girls together. Our decision to break up was mutual and we are still good friends today. My current boyfriend, I also met on-line.





So, its possible to meet someone on-line and have a long term, healthy relationship. It's what you make of it.





However, you still have to be careful of the potential psychos that are out there.
