ok so there is this guy i have been talking to online for the past year and we are still talking and we really like each other the only thing is he lives in a different state. he want me to move up there with him but i want to meet him first what do you think about it or what is your experince?

People can be COMPLETELY different people online and in person.
Reply:MEET HIM FIRST and not just one time, tell him if he realy wants you, he has to spend sometime in your town so you really get to know each other. There are a lot of lies going on in online conversations. Don't trust anyone unless you meet him for a few time. If he make excuses that most likely he will, try to find someone better local

How do you know if this guy is really being truthful on who he really is...maybe he is a sexual predator going for young girls.





Advise him that you two shoudl meet in a public place that you are familiar with and has security guards, like a mall..so you have the upper hand.
Reply:Make sure you guys exchange many many high resolution pics with digital camera. Full body, head shots, various expressions and poses. That is very Important. That will reduce the risk of unpleasant surprises. Remember that Appearance is a very big part of any human's personality.





My experience is: When we had exchanged Many pics and information like height etc, the real meeting was not much surprise.





But i have had experience where I met girls without seeing their pics or just one pic, and she turned out to be ugly or obese in reality.





But still one year relatinship without ever meeting.. thats too long. better meet him first, before moving there for him.
