I am a plus size woman. I am 5'8" tall. I have wide hips and a large bottom. I am not obese but need to lose some weight. I express this to guys I meet online. They say it is ok. When I meet them they act like I never told them. Any suggestions so they know how I look for real and not just how they percieve me in my pictures?

Reply:If you send them a pic or two that honestly show your size, and they still act like a**es when you meet them - sounds like their problem. There are a lot of dumb people out there, for sure, but not all of them are this way.

Reply:I've heard that many sites recommend showing a full head to toe shot of yourself, just so that way none of the other members will say you lied about the way you look.





Please don't think I'm being hurtful, but perhaps there was a misunderstanding on the guy's part as to how big you are. I agree that the men shouldn't be taken aback or anything like that.

Reply:If this isn't working out for you, you need to change it. Go out and meet people. Go out with your friends and hang out and try to met people. Don't try to focus on your weakness. Exploit your great qualities. Be honest but dwell on it.
