Beware of online dating ..... Here is a good reason why?

I have a friend who is the founder of a new dating website which I won't disclose. She has 6 test accounts that she has created, and yes members can contact the test accounts w/ possible interest.





There was a man who wrote the same message to all the female test accounts, and who knows how many more member accounts. It's seems as though users are using online dating as a form of monopoly. Many members are speaking, and dating/hooking up w/ multiple ppl on multiple dating sites at once.





Here is an experiment. Type in the screen name of a member you like on one dating site using google, and see how many times his/her name comes up on other sites. And yeah you may see them on a few adult dating sites also.

Reply:That's common and what's the big deal? Why contact only one at a time or use only one site at a time? Nothing wrong with spreading yourself around, for plenty of exposure...that doesn't mean you are a player or trying to do anything inappropriate or dishonest.





I've been on various sites over the years, at the same time (esp when many were free). It just made sense so that more people could see my profile and contact me if interested.





Just like people that may date multiples offline, until they meet someone they really 'click' with, nothing wrong with contacting many online as you weed through all those who aren't suitable to hopefully find someone who is. ☺
Reply:Ummm. DUH. That's what people do, they try to hook up with as many people as possible, that is why you don't **** someone on the first date. Wait a couple months and get to know the guy first in person!
