Online dating question?

I met this really nice guy online and we have been e-mailing each other for over a week. What I am wondering what would be an appropriate time to ask him to call me (or ask for his number so I can call him)? I have never used a dating service, and I have not actively dated in a long time. Also, what are other acceptable dates, like first date, kiss, etc.? Any other information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well id say go for it i guess that's because from my experience....My current boyfriend and i met threw an on-line dating service an I'm sooooo happy that i have found him!But i do defiantly recommend that you be cautious there are allot of weirdos out there!!First date dinner is a great idea that way you can conversate as well were as if you go do an activity or watch a movie there is not as much room to talk an become relaxed around each other!!!Call if you feel hes the one for you, you never know he might be!Get his # an call him blocked the first time an scope him out before givin him any personal info good luck girl an be careful the world out there can sometimes be cruel!!!
Reply:I think it's too soon to be asking for anyones number, remember you don't know him, and you know nothing about him. I would get to know him better before taking the next step. Be careful, not everyone is who you think they are.

Reply:you have to follow your heart on this one. have you two exchanged photos of each other yet? remember anyone can act nice via email but i believe the next step would be a phone conversation. it determines how long you can keep each other interested in one another and it can be a breakthrough for a potential meeting, date, ect.





i reccomend you take it to the next step if you haven't had any success with the opposite sex any other way, no pun intended. the unique thing about meeting someone via the internet is you both are getting to know each other and able to first hand judge by personality and not sole how each other looks.

Reply:Well since you're old enough to take care of yourself [not so sure what I mean by that sorry lol] I just have to say that only seeing someone online really sucks because you never know. Not to make you paranoid or anything I just think its better when you can actually be with the person. Long distance is always harder. How far apart are you guys anyway?





And only do what you feel comfortable in doing - not what he pushes you into or what you think is the 'right' thing to do. If you want to call him or want him to call you then casually ask him. If he doesn't want to then its probably best you don't push it and think it over.
