Dating men through online personals?

Hello All


I have been reunited with a man I dated 12 years ago. We met again through a online dating service. After a month of dating i requested he take down his dating profile and he said he would asap. I went online to check into things and notice his account is still active in fact he logged in yesterday. I sent him a email today letting him I was disappointed and it appears he doesnt take me seriously,I am still waiting for response. This man talks a good game and makes many promises of the future however I havent seen any action yet other than a phone call everyday. My kids are grown and will be leaving the nest soon. I am now looking for someone special to spend the rest of my life with. Should I move on or should I give him more time

Hey give him a chance it is someone whom you known from your past. Asked him again why? If you and him are seeing each other than why continue to be on the personals? If he is willing to give the relationship a try than he would remove himself from those sites. If not than he is playing the field seeing more than one woman..You would think that it would be a smooth transition and it is not..it gets there eventually..I have been there and still am taking it one day at a time..first me..my children and mom..smile and good luck to u..
Reply:Well, unless you have others you are immediately interested in, I'd say pursue other avenues, put *your* profile back up and if you find someone, then fine.





I don't see why you need to tell him any of this. He doesn't seem interested in talking about it on his end, so take that as that it's just not much of a concern to him.





If, in the meantime he comes around and you are still interested, then fine, otherwise you are that much further ahead, just in case.





No reason to make it a big deal or anything. It's not like either of you have commitments to the other, so you are simply going about your business.....as he apparently is.

Reply:Sounds to me like he isn't genuine. There are plenty more guys out there. If he is messing you around and not being open and honest with you then dump him.
