Well, i've been with my online bf for about a month and a few days. Different strokes for different folks. ^_^

Reply:I met my hubby online 2 yrs ago..and the way we made it work was he moved in with me...4 hours away from his family and friends. We been together ever since..and im so glad i met him. Anything is possible if you try.
Reply:Going into online dating means taking on the chances of possibly meeting someone who isn't what you expected them to be like or what they claim to be like. I personally wouldn't do it but if you are considering, it all depends on the person who is on either end of the computer. I say first keep an ongoing causual communication line open...like email or IM for example without pressure of getting to know too much about eachother too fast and if that works, perhaps talk on the phone if both people agree. Have clear expectations set out and in the open and if you ever decide to meet, do so with a friend around or in a public place. Most times its difficult for people to do this but you never know..it may work for you. Just be very very careful and wise. If there is something you find funny or don't like..go with your first feeling. Good luck.
Reply:It works occasionally, but always always always be skeptical. You never know who your talking to, or if they are telling the truth.
Reply:I used to think you had to play the numbers. Go out with a certain number of people and you might find one you like. I have found a lot of friendly people but nothing serious.





My sister was just looking for a date and found her perfect guy. He was the first one she met from online.





So now I believe its just about luck.
