Online Dating...?
Do you mean to have a virtual date online? Or do you mean to find someone online to date?
The second one has both positive and negative aspects to it. The positive thing is that it opens the field to many candidates and meeting is easy and non-commital. The negative aspects are nearly the same.
In the end, you only have to be intelligently cautious and follow guidelines of safety that are available.
Back in the Dark Ages when I was shopping for a lifemate, my choices were somewhat limited but I got lucky nonetheless; we just celebrated twenty-nine years together.
So there you have it... not much of answer. Except that I would try it if I were in such a position.
