Is online Dating actually work?

ok ive never thought of online dating but people suggested it too me. i always thought it was weird to meet someone online. Id like opinions cuase i have trouble with dating and just want to find a girl. im young 22 but i dont like to go party all the time. Actaully i havent for a while so i dont really see peopel i dont go out to bars. I work and pay a morgage for my house. Could online dating help me or should i just go out to the bars with my friends, i do like to have a couple drinks but im not lookin for a girl to just have a thing with, id like to havea relationship. i jsut dont have much free time, all i do is work, i usually havea sunday here and there to go hang out.

Is online Dating actually work?
Online dating has become a lot more popular now with all the technology these days. I met someone on MySpace last year (typical, i know) and we became good friends even though we couldn't work out relationship-wise. Give it a try and even if you don't find a girlfriend, you can meet new people.

Reply:I would try online dating. I did it once but it didnt work out because we had to much in common. But it is actually very common now a days to use it. You can always try it out and then if you don't like it stop doing it. But I wouldn't just rely on it, I would go out with my friends too.

Reply:I have heard nothing but bad things from people I know who have used it . I don't care what the commercials say; those are five or six couples out of tens of thousands who are signed up. One friend found out her "friend" was married, almost too late. One found out hers had a criminal record. One found out hers had filed for bankruptcy after she asked around about why she was always picking up their tab.
