Online dating only for uneducated, unattractive weirdos???

I have been on an online dating site for almosta month now and I have gotten my mailbox flooded with over a hundred "winks" and emails but I have not responded to a single one. I have tried searching profiles and have not found anyone worth writing to. It's just awful! I am a 22 year old attractive college graduate with a good job. I am looking for someone who is educated, professsional, attractive, tall (becasue I am), and it just does not seem to be out there. I think this online dating thing was a huge mistake. I signed up because meeting guys in bars is only good if you are looking for quick hookups who won't ever call again and I work in a company full of married, divorced, and gay men.


Tell me if I'm wrong and I don't mean to offend anyone, but does it seem to anyone else that online dating would work best for unaducated, unattractive people looking for the same? What does a young single educated woman have to do to meet a guy!?? Online clearly isn't the answer. Thoughts???

I don't think online dating is for uneducated and unattractive weirdos. I think EVERYONE can benefit from it.

if you wanna meet a guy, without asking for a picture first, go to places like the beach, the mall, etc... that's where you meet guys^^. DUH

just kidding, but you do have to realize that women have taught men not to give up, to go after those who are not interested. because after a hundred tries, they say yes. women will not date men they like. they play games with the ones they like, make them jealous, treat them like they are gay, but wont date them. so the guy you are looking for avoids you because he does not want to be treated like a gay friend, and the losers come after you because they want to be the guy you sleep with to make the guywho is ignoring you jealous. if women ever stop playing games, you will not have this problem.





as for only losers using online dating, i dont think the percentage is higher then anywhere else.





oh, and lose the attitude. a man who cant even read or write can love you more , work harder, and earn more then the guy who was lucky enough to have dad pay for his education.
Reply:Online dating is a good place for weirdos to hook up. However, us normal people can also benefit. I lived far away from everyone I knew and got bored one day and signed up. I met my boyfriend online and we have never been happier, oddly he lives like 5 miles from me. The Yahoo personals never worked out but Hotornot.com is where I met my bf, and it's just fun to rate people too! Check it out!

Reply:Personally, I don't think there's a right or wrong decision with online dating. I use Myspace and Blackplanet from time to time and, I know i look good, and educated. True, clubs and bars are mostly good for harmless fun as a single person, but some people can find a lover in these places. The one will come to you.

You must be looking in the wrong place or waiting for guys to contact you. Contact the guys that you like and ignore the rest that you don't.

Reply:Hang out either like a bookstore or even some place like Starbucks. And if you have absolutely nothing better to do on a Friday night, go to a hardware store. You will find (usually) single guys, who like to work with their hands and who (probably) own their own home ;-)
