Why ? about online dating and stuff?

why is it hard for people to understand online dating and people meeting from online?

Yes i've watched dateline and all the online predators but there are abunch of people that met and talked online and met and dated some married.

So why is it so hard for people to just let it be instead of judging people that do it and some being hypocritical?

Look at all the meeting websites now a days

Why ? about online dating and stuff?
I met the man that I am with and adore from hotornot and we are going strong.. i think they are great sites to give the opportunities for people to met, however people just need to be careful.. unfortunatly, married people, and scary people get on but that is where they need to be careful...

people love to have something to wine about and dating sites are just one more thing for them to wine about...

do u kno of a good dating website??lemme kno
Reply:good for you and yes their is those that prey on people like that.
Reply:"I think maybe some people think that it is easy for them to find love online, so they don`t be very serious."

One woman on http://www.muslimonly.com said this.
Reply:I think it's because people look at the statistics. If you notice the divorce rate has also risen since online dating as well. Many marriages have a life of 2 years or less. It's only statistics. But as for my views, I don't see a problem with online dating.
Reply:I think this is an interesting question because I chat a lot online, too. But I've never thought the online chatting would be a safe and smart way to meet someone in real life especially if you intend to regard the person you met online more than a short term partner or someone you temporarily hang out with.

This is basically because most people with higher education level tend to meet their significant people from their schools or jobs as taught in sociology classes, the school and workplaces are the most common place where you can make your friends and boyfriend or girlfriend.

And also, in respects to the anonymity of online services, this anonymity definitely can be so easily abused by the online users with some ill purposes. Therefore, it's not trustworthy enough not only how they introduce themselves to you online, and what they say online could turn out to be all made-up lies.

Lastly, seeing the internet service is now available to almost everyone in the world, it's one of the easiest and most vulnerable ways to get harmed by unknown people. You never know where exactly they're from, what they do, who they are and why they're trying to approach you unless you make extra efforts to investigate their detailed information to make sure whether it's safe to meet them in real.

So, I guess it would all depend on who and what kind of people are seeing the online dating activities and so their perception on the online dating will considerably differ from individuals in different environment and backgrounds.
Reply:I honestly think people have a hard time understanding it because, its hard to think of meeting someone and dating someone you arent seeing in person and varifiying what they are saying.

I mean if i went to a bar i can generally tell whether someone is a man or a woman and around what age they are. You know.

So its hard when you cant see the person. and be in a relationship with the physical view and and not as scary part of a relationship

Especially if you havent used it before
